Alternative Christmas – A Plant-based Banquet! @The Narrows, Portaferry

Whether you are a vegan, vegetarian or omnivore, this one-day workshop has something (and a very tasty something, at that!) for you. Come and join us at The Narrows Social, Portaferry – a unique and beautiful place on the shores of Strangford Lough for a day of food, cookery, eating and great company.
There will be food demonstrations and tastings (a healthy, plant-based alternative to butter that tastes amazing, for example), hands-on cookery, a sumptuous lunch that will be enjoyed together in front of a log fire and more!
You will then enjoy the fruits of your labour by enjoying a 3-course meal (there will be some recipe ideas for between-course surprises!) with christmassy drinks, for example, Candy Kane Water Kefir. If we can rouse you from the fireside, after lunch, we will make jars of Christmas Kraut with Cinnamon, Cranberries & Citrus to take home.

You will also get a full recipe pack to take home, so that you can replicate the delicious dishes that we will make. To give you an idea what the recipes might be, here are some examples of what we might be making (and scoffing!):
